H&M GROUP

EMPLOYER BRANDING: BE YOU

H&M Global Employer Branding: Be You

The H&M Group is a collective of diverse brands, yet at its heart, it shares a unifying identity as an employer. Our task was to bring this identity to life through an inspiring film that captures the essence of what it means to work for the H&M Group.

The project revolved around showcasing the inclusive and innovative spirit that defines H&M as an employer. Through carefully crafted storytelling, we introduced employees from various corners of the H&M Group’s global organization, highlighting their unique backgrounds, skills, and experiences. Each individual contributes to a shared goal: creating a workplace that is creative, inclusive, sustainable, and forward-thinking.

From concept development to execution, Icon Brands managed every aspect of this assignment. Our team worked closely with H&M to design a narrative that resonates with both current and prospective employees, embodying the values of individuality and collaboration. The “Be You” campaign is more than a tagline; it’s a call to action, inviting people to bring their authentic selves to a workplace that values diversity and drives change.

Key elements of this project included:

Concept Development

  • Crafting a unifying idea that reflects H&M’s identity as an employer.

Art Direction

  • Designing a visually compelling framework to bring the concept to life.

Copywriting

  • Developing engaging scripts and messages to convey the story.

Storyline

  • Structuring the film to emphasize the unique contributions of employees while reinforcing the company’s vision for the future.

Film Production

  • Overseeing all stages of production, from pre-planning to post-editing, to deliver a polished and impactful result.

The final film celebrates the individuality of H&M Group employees and positions the company as a global leader in fostering an inclusive and sustainable work culture.

The “Be You” campaign effectively communicates H&M’s commitment to empowering its people while preparing for the future of work.
